Just a check-up!

Future girlfriend?

Working on uncle Shane... a couple minutes later she picked up Eli's toy shotgun and said to Shane, "there is just one thing left to do." We've all had a few laughs over that one!!

"It's great to be a big sister" (a Dora song Chloe often sings) The other day she told me that when she grows up she wants to marry Wyatt... I had some explaining to do, but the thought was very sweet!

The cousins did the Puyallup fair!

and the Point Defiance Zoo

Chloe gets a great reaction when showing Wyatt her owie!

The second cousins at Lake Roosevelt!

Boat Camping!

Wyatt LOVES anything motorized (on a daily basis he gets very excited about cars, trucks, tractors, and airplanes) even if all he's looking at is a picture in a book! He loudly exclaims "OOOOh Tuuuu" (Oh, Truck!) See the little car still clutched in his hand while he's napping?!
Pure heaven! (I love this picture!)

This little monster truck was given to us by some friends whose girls had outgrown it.... it has provided HOURS of fun for our kids!!

A party for two (Chloe got it all set up)

Silly girl!

Cooking up some fun in the AM.

Chloe is all about cooking and baking lately ever since she saw a couple Rachael Ray DVDS! It cracks me up to listen to her, cause she talks about everything she's doing while she's cooking and uses all the same wording as Rachael!!

Chloe and her friend Morgan playing dress-up
Buddy boy
This summer was the summer of the frog, as our little man-made pond was suddenly full of frogs and toads after 9 years without! Frog catching became a daily ritual for our little princess (who literally kissed a frog just about every day) and any other little people who came around.

Ok, these pics are obviously quite old as here Chloe is planting seeds for the garden that is now tilled under for the winter (except for the carrots who are still going strong!)

Future fireman

Check out the size of this toad!!

Today Chloe told me, "We should name Libby midnight star cause that would be a much better name for a black lab than Libby!" Little miss imagination!! This really gave me a chuckle as I looked at faithful old seven year old Libby, now going grey at the muzzle and wondered what she would think if I suddenly started calling out to her "Midnight Star come!"Also today, I noticed that Wyatt thinks that blowing and smelling are the same thing!! We took a walk through the woods and he kept stopping and blowing on leaves with his nose against the leaf! So Cute! He also says,"SSSSSS" when he thinks his food is hot! He is 18 months old now!

Much imagining going on in this picture!! I'll share this because I know some of you will think it's funny... yesterday we had our first date since Wyatt was born (he's 17 months). It was soooo romantic- we went to lunch at Costco then shopped at costco, went thru starbucks drive thru, went to gospel mtg., loaded windows at the ministorage, and picked up our children on the way home. Actually it was fun! We had originally planned to meet up with the kids at gospel mtg. where they would be with the grandfolks, but Larry's stepdad fell so he had to head over to Seattle and Sherry felt she should stay home rather than make the big trip alone with the kids and being left with the big old gas hog truck and much rebuckling of carseats... Thus our date =)
