Wyatt LOVES anything motorized (on a daily basis he gets very excited about cars, trucks, tractors, and airplanes) even if all he's looking at is a picture in a book! He loudly exclaims "OOOOh Tuuuu" (Oh, Truck!) See the little car still clutched in his hand while he's napping?!
Pure heaven! (I love this picture!)

This little monster truck was given to us by some friends whose girls had outgrown it.... it has provided HOURS of fun for our kids!!

A party for two (Chloe got it all set up)

Silly girl!

Cooking up some fun in the AM.

Chloe is all about cooking and baking lately ever since she saw a couple Rachael Ray DVDS! It cracks me up to listen to her, cause she talks about everything she's doing while she's cooking and uses all the same wording as Rachael!!

Chloe and her friend Morgan playing dress-up
Buddy boy
This summer was the summer of the frog, as our little man-made pond was suddenly full of frogs and toads after 9 years without! Frog catching became a daily ritual for our little princess (who literally kissed a frog just about every day) and any other little people who came around.

Ok, these pics are obviously quite old as here Chloe is planting seeds for the garden that is now tilled under for the winter (except for the carrots who are still going strong!)

Future fireman

Check out the size of this toad!!

Today Chloe told me, "We should name Libby midnight star cause that would be a much better name for a black lab than Libby!" Little miss imagination!! This really gave me a chuckle as I looked at faithful old seven year old Libby, now going grey at the muzzle and wondered what she would think if I suddenly started calling out to her "Midnight Star come!"Also today, I noticed that Wyatt thinks that blowing and smelling are the same thing!! We took a walk through the woods and he kept stopping and blowing on leaves with his nose against the leaf! So Cute! He also says,"SSSSSS" when he thinks his food is hot! He is 18 months old now!

Much imagining going on in this picture!! I'll share this because I know some of you will think it's funny... yesterday we had our first date since Wyatt was born (he's 17 months). It was soooo romantic- we went to lunch at Costco then shopped at costco, went thru starbucks drive thru, went to gospel mtg., loaded windows at the ministorage, and picked up our children on the way home. Actually it was fun! We had originally planned to meet up with the kids at gospel mtg. where they would be with the grandfolks, but Larry's stepdad fell so he had to head over to Seattle and Sherry felt she should stay home rather than make the big trip alone with the kids and being left with the big old gas hog truck and much rebuckling of carseats... Thus our date =)

Great catch Aaron!!

My cute little guy!

Goodbye Sarah, Ezra, and Audrey- we are going to miss you!

Enjoying baby Owen (I know these pics are getting old, but I wanted to post them anyway)

Taking brother for a ride. Helping Mommy with the gardening (it's funny to remember when she was 1-2 and ripping out the flowers as I planted them, but now at 4 1/2 she tries to do everything she see's me do and is actually pretty good at doing most things. She can zip the back of her own dress!! Which is pretty impressive to watch!)

Some serious art going on here!!

Wish this wasn't blurry! Wyatt tries to do anything he see's sister do, so he is doing many things quite a bit earlier than I expected! Like climbing up on the couch with a coloring book and crayon and coloring! Other news is he is officially walking all the time now and practically running! No crawling at all as of this last week. He loves to wave Bye Bye and peek around corners and give a really toothy funny grin with scrunched eyes (very funny!) He walks around the house holding his play phone on the back of his head and pointing and jabbering away!

Wyatt and his friend Daniel and their big sisters in the background.

Chloe's preschool class field trip to Grandma and Grandpa's farm. Chloe and her Grandma Horsey.

Feeding the llama.

Meeting new cousin Emmett for the first time! What a cutie! (We had fun with him and his big brother and mom and dad this weekend too!)

OOOOHHHH!

Wyatt wasn't sure what to think about mama holding Emmett (these two are almost exactly one year apart)

One Sunday my mother-in-law brought us this beautiful bouquet she had just picked out of her yard!
Silly girl goofing around and wanting me to take a picture of her!

The cute little brother.

The princess is sleeping...

Naptime with Daddy.

Wyatt learns to self feed

Learning to self feed has been a blast!! But I am very independant about this particular thing and DO NOT want to be fed by others! Mommy has actually been quite surprised lately at how much food I can get in my mouth!

A tea party with friends Laura, Karina, and Lauren (who Mommy used to babysit 5 years ago when she was 4).

Sunday AM playtime

Just a little of what the little country bumpkins have been up to...

We helped Daddy thaw out a beaver (he does taxidermy as a side job).
Check out the teeth on this beaver!!

It was a very interesting job!

Wyatt had quite a lot to say about it!!

Yayyy! Some sunshine! We love to play in our sand box!

One morning Chloe made this blueberry smoothie out of her kids cookbook.

We love to do art!

Some of Chloe's first drawings of faces!

All muddy, so mommy put me straight into the bath, then stripped off my clothes!

Chloe swimming in the rain!
