We are ready and waiting...

The cute cradle I am borrowing from Deanna's sister Sara and my cool new baby sling that I'm excited about!
I treated myself to a new rocking chair for baby #2 =)

This is one of Chloe's recent favorite pastimes- getting her gloves on and sitting in her doll stroller on the front porch eating "Maddy's popsicles" (because they are the kind that Sara's little Maddy brought over one time last fall).

Hunting with Dad...

With the nice weather we've had lately, Chloe and her Daddy have taken a few hunting trips on the quad. Chloe is loving these adventures and having a chance to hike around out in the woods. She has many questions and is anxious to learn as much as she can about wildlife. This has her Dad pretty happy! He's getting her all ready for the day when she is old enough to do some "real" hunting! Meanwhile, I get a chance to relax a little with my large belly and do some nesting! =)

Checkin out the beaver dam they found.

Catching up on the news
Leah, Mia, and Meredith came to visit last weekend! Thanks for coming! It was a good time! Chloe says, "Thank you for reading and playing with me!"

Chloe and her Daddy went shopping at Costco... =)

Chloe asked me to take this picture and I thought it turned out pretty cute!

Playing with cousins Brenna and Bella at Baby Michael and Aunty Mandy's baby shower.

Later, they had so much fun running around outside together pretending to be little red riding hood! These girls have great imaginations!

Fun with Friends...

Makin' Brownies! Chloe loves to cook!!
Chloe's friend Nicole got to come stay the night! They actually went to sleep with no problem and slept in Chloe's room all night!! (I used to take care of Nicole and her sister before Chloe was born.) They were ready for a tea party as soon as they got up!

Then they played house.

Another friend, (who I also took care of before Chloe was born) Lauren came to visit. We all went out to ice cream- it was a fun day!

Sweet words from a child...

This evening on our walk as dusk began to fall, Chloe looked up and saw the moon. She said, "Mommy, I want to hold the moon. Will you get it down for me, please?" I said that I couldn't reach that high. She said, "but Daddy can with his big ladder!"
