A new baby to love- she even sucked a bottle, burped, and made sleeping sounds while her chest moved up and down- then she quit working (yes, I tried changing the batteries!) The company is sending a new one, so hopefully we'll have better luck the second time around!

The day before x-mas eve, Chloe "traded" in her binkies at Walmart for a big girl bike! We had come up with this idea several months ago and talked about it A LOT, so she was ready to do it! The most difficult time was the hours leading up to bedtime, but by the time bedtime actually arrived, she had come to terms with it and went to bed with no trouble! I am relieved to be over that hurdle!

so I haven't been able to update my blog, which is really sad because I have so many pictures with the Holidays and Chloe's birthday being this past Sunday. Hopefully we can get it all working again soon! Don't give up on viewing our blog!

The First Snow

We are really enjoying the first snow of this winter. I'm not sure if Chloe can remember last winter's snow, it seems to be all new to her and she loves it!
Everything is so much more beautiful covered in snow!

This past week...

Our little (but growing) family, this Sunday.
I thought this was so cute- Chloe set up her baby (that she has named Abby) in a chair to look outside at "Woofers" (our dog Libby).

We got our excersaucer back from being stored in Grandpa and Grandma's garage and cleaned it up in preparation for our new baby, meanwhile- it is like a new toy to Chloe, or maybe a personal recliner? As Jeff and I watched her play in it we took a little trip down memory lane to the day we bought it and put her in it and her feet would barely touch the bottom even on the lowest setting, and her whole body was just weeble wobbling around in it!

A special day for Frosty the Snowman...

After being packed away and forgotten for the year, Chloe and I decided it was time to get Frosty and his friends out of the storage closet. I went to haul some boxes downstairs and came back up to find this seen- Chloe had moved her rocking chair into the storage closet and was rocking Frosty and singing him a lullaby! =)

Later I came up and found that Frosty was getting his diaper changed! (Chloe had went and found her old changing pad and got it all set up with baby wipes and... kleenex?!)
